MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Registered/Certified Medical Assistants work closely with the physicians throughout the company in direct patient care to include performing vitals, exam room set-up and break-down, diagnostic and screening tests, triaging messages, administering shots, and all of the things that come up during a busy day in a medical office. A mindset to provide quality patient care and customer service is a must.

  • Central Business Office
    Practice Support Team MA, travel throughout the company. Flexible Schedule

  • Woodholme Location
    Full-Time Bi-lingual Russian speaking MA needed for the Woodholme location. Hours vary Monday - Friday but generally core business hours.

  • Reisterstown Location
    1 MA needed for the Reisterstown location to work with various physicians and specialties as a Float MA. Mon. -Fri. 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

         MA Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant

  • Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program and/or a minimum of 2 years related experience

  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of electronic medical records and electronic practice management system a plus. NextGen experience preferred

  • Able to physically assist patients onto and off of examination tables

  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail required

 

RECEPTIONIST

The receptionist primarily answers the phone, facilitates communication between patients and providers, and schedules appointments. 

  • Towson Location
    1 Float Receptionist needed for our Towson location. Hours vary Monday - Friday; availability on Saturdays is sometimes required.

    Receptionist Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Customer Service or Medical Office experience preferred

  • Ability to check patient eligibility

  • Basic computer skills with a willingness and ability to learn new applications

  • Ability to multi-task

MEDICAL RECORDS CLERK/SCANNER

Primary responsibility is to scan documents into the patient’s EMR chart. The Medical Records Clerk enters required data elements (i.e. medical history, family history, etc.) obtained from the patient’s paper medical record into the NextGen EMR system.

  • Reisterstown and Woodholme Locations
    Medical Records Clerk Scanner needed for our Reisterstown and Woodholme locations, Mon. -Fri. ; total of 28 hours per week/ schedule to be determined.  

    Medical Records Clerk/ Scanner Requirements:

  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of electronic medical records and electronic practice management system a plus. NextGen experience preferred

  • Proficient with computers and other office equipment such as scanners

  • Minimum 1year related medical office experience.

  • High School diploma.

  • Ability to sit for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 10 1bs

REGISTERED NURSE

The Ambulatory Surgery/Endoscopy Center of Clinical Associates, P.A. has a Part-Time position available for a qualified, team-oriented Registered Nurse.  Generally, the nurse would be scheduled to work two (2) days per week (Wednesday and Thursday), an occasional Tuesday plus other days as needed.   The Center, located in Towson, operates from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays performing endoscopies, colonoscopies, cystoscopies, dermatology and minor general surgery procedures. 

         R.N. Requirements:

  • Current Maryland Registered Nurse

  • IV competency

  • Experience working in a pre-op/post-op area

  • ICU, ER or Operating Room experience preferred

  • GI experience preferred

  • Familiarity with a state of the art electronic health system is a plus

  • Certification in CPR and ACLS
